My name is Pedro Galicia. I’m the creator of World Walkers, a weekly Dungeons and Dragons Actual Play Podcast set in a multiverse of interconnected worlds. The story follows a group of world-hopping adventurers trying to rebuild an island of dreams before Nightmares devour existence.

It’s funnier than it sounds.

I’m going to be making a big announcement this Thursday at 9:00 PM EST about my Patreon, so I wanted to take some time to talk about  what World Walkers and the World Walkers Patreon is all about, for those that don’t know.

What’s World Walkers All About?

World Walkers follows five adventurers: a gunslinging grandma, an ex-warmachine, an elemental golem, a dwarven wizard, and their calculating rogue leader. They were ripped from their worlds and thrown into a journey to find the shards of a shattered dream island that, when brought together, will allow The Dreaming Tree to be restored. Their hope is that this will drive back the Nightmares and save both the Waking and Dreaming Realms.

Their guide is a halfling with amnesia named Tompkins who makes up with his lack of combat prowess with… well. The group’s still figuring that out. He leads them across the multiverse, from the time-shattered world of Obrimos to the steam-powered world of Cog, all the way to Rhalanas, the World of Fables, and more…

What sets World Walkers apart is that we don’t take ourselves too seriously. I laugh as much as the group cries.

Wait.

Why Should I Become A Patreon Member?

First and foremost, you should only become a member if you listen to the podcast and fall in love. If it’s anything less, you probably have better things to do with your money. But! If you check us out and you want more, I think there’s a few good reasons.

Early And Exclusive

If you become a member of the World Walkers community, you get the podcast a week before everyone else. Not only that, but you get exclusive adventures as well. See, sometimes the group splits up, and when they do we play them out and put them on Patreon as Side Adventures. Some of the adventures include time travel, a date night with assassins, a battle against a living forest, and more.

The World Walkers Campaign Guide

Since all of my games are custom worlds, I write a lot of my own stuff, what’s known as “homebrew” content. I put all of that stuff in a document called the World Walkers Campaign Guide, filled with art from the players from the podcast, who are all professional cartoonists. Inside are custom races like the shapeshifting Doppleganger, the angel-like Aasimar, and the Eiko’Shin–a collection of animal-based races like the Bearkin, the Mousefolk and the frog-like Grippli. In addition you’ll find Backgrounds like the Gunslinger and the Tavern Aficionado. I also recently added a new class I’ve designed, The Summoner, which I’m pretty excited about!

Because You Want To See World Walkers Continue
I had a lot of jobs before World Walkers started. I worked in a Library. I was a Receptionist in a Trailer Factory. I was an Insurance Agent. I made Pizza. I worked in Marketing. But now, because of the members of my Patreon, I am the DM and Creator of World Walkers. Professionally.

Directly because of our members, I’ve been able to create lots of new content, such as Colossus Vs The World, a podcast mini-series where my brother attempts to play use Colossus in a Marvel Roleplaying game to conquer the world. I’m able to run Livestream D&D games starring Patreon members. And I’m able to post World Talkers, a Q&A session where we talk about the latest episodes with listeners. But these things are only possible because of the members of the World Walkers Patreon.

So now you know a bit more about us. I’m incredibly thankful for all of you that have been with World Walkers, whether you were here in the beginning or you’re just now seeing us for the first time. Make sure you come back Thursday, September 13th at 9:00 PM EST to watch as I make an announcement about my Patreon. You’ll be able to watch here!
